What a wonderful day of community spirit, generosity and teamwork!
AsPaC was honoured to be the only charity stall at the SIC Car Boot Preloved Sale held on Sunday, 14 June. Dressed in our bright and colourful AsPaC aprons, our volunteers certainly stood out from the crowd and helped attract many visitors to our stall.
Throughout the day, we were deeply encouraged by the overwhelming support from members of the public. Many stopped by to browse and purchase our preloved items, while others, touched by our cause, chose to make donations even without taking anything home. Every contribution, big or small, was a meaningful gesture of support for the work we do in providing compassionate palliative care to those in need.
The event was not only about fundraising but also about creating awareness of AsPaC’s mission within the community. It gave us the opportunity to share who we are, what we do, and the difference that compassionate care can make in the lives of patients and their families.
A heartfelt thank you to all our volunteers who gave their time, energy and enthusiasm to make the day such a success. A special Thank you goes out to Julian Jansen and Mr Chui who helped load and unload the pick up van.
To Mag and her volunteers, thank you for sorting and setting up the items, engaging with visitors, managing sales and packing up at the end of the event.
The dedication and teamwork of the whole team truly shone through that day.
We are delighted to share that the SIC Car Boot Preloved Sale raised a total of RM2,000 for AsPaC. These funds will go towards supporting our free palliative care services, including medical care, medications, medical equipment and psychosocial support for our patients and their loved ones.
To everyone who donated items, visited our stall, made a purchase, donated on-site and cheered us on — thank you for standing with AsPaC. Your kindness enables us to continue serving with compassion and love.
