Art students from the primary and secondary sections of elc International School recently came together in support of AsPaC through two meaningful fundraising initiatives — the Chinese New Year Cookie Sale and the Easter Cookie Sale.
Held over two days each, on Mondays and Tuesdays just before the respective festive celebrations, the cookie sales brought excitement and a strong spirit of compassion across the school community. The students played an important role in promoting and selling the cookies, enthusiastically encouraging friends, teachers and parents to support the cause.
What made the initiative especially heartfelt was that every cookie was lovingly home-baked and decorated by Ms. Bushra and her daughters – making the effort a deeply personal contribution from the family in support of palliative care services.
Through the enthusiastic participation of the students and the generosity of the school community, the initiative successfully raised RM1,700 for AsPaC.
The cheque donation presented by elc International School reflects the school’s commitment to compassion, community service and making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families under palliative care.
